Satirical gay men are the best. David Sedaris is one of the funniest writers I know about. Most of his books are personal stories and essays about his life, family, and childhood. Since he is a humourist, a lot of his stories are exaggerated, but I really dont think that matters that much. With a family as big and as crazy as his, you cant really exaggerate too much. This book, as wel as many of his others, are just a collection of stories of shit that has happened to him in no real order. Some of them, like Me Talk Pretty One Day, are mostly about him and his partner living in France together and Sedaris trying to learn French. Dress Your Family is mostly about his family. Hilarious. Hearing him read his own stuff is great too.
